Man United are leading the race to sign Brentford’s Bryan Mbuemo

Brentford winger Bryan Mbeumo has decided to prioritise a move to Manchester United this summer, despite attracting interest from multiple Premier League clubs.

According to highly respected journalist David Ornstein, the 25-year-old has made it clear that Old Trafford is his preferred destination ahead of the 2025/26 campaign.

Mbeumo has emerged as one of the most exciting wide players in the English top flight over the past two seasons, becoming a central figure in Brentford’s attacking setup.

He is a proper goal scorer from the wide position and one of the players United have been targeting.

Bryan Mbuemo is ready to move to Man United

The Red Devils have now received the green light from the player himself since he is keen on a move to Old Trafford.

While at least three other Premier League sides have shown concrete interest in securing the Cameroonian international’s services, Man United’s approach appears to have struck a chord with the player.

Talks between Man United and Brentford are expected to begin shortly, with the Red Devils now preparing an official approach.

United are eager to strengthen their attacking depth this summer, particularly with uncertainty surrounding some of their players.

As per Ornstein, the likes of Arsenal, Newcastle United and Tottenham are all interested in a move for the Brentford attacker but he is only thinking about a move to Man United.

Mbuemo scored 20 goals and provided nine assists for Brentford in all competitions this season.
