Real Madrid’s new right-back signing Trent Alexander-Arnold wowed with some impressively fluent Spanish at his unveiling with the club today.
Alexander-Arnold has been officially presented as a new Real Madrid player, as confirmed via Los Blancos’ official website.
The England international is joining Madrid from Liverpool, with BBC Sport recently reporting on how he ended up joining earlier than expected, with the Reds receiving a fee for the 26-year-old.
This will allow Alexander-Arnold to play for Real at the Club World Cup this summer, and it will certainly be intriguing to see what kind of start he makes at his new club.

Alexander-Arnold came to the final year of his Liverpool contract, and we can perhaps judge from this that he spent some of that time brushing up on the new language as his future was perhaps decided earlier than various media reports suggested.
Perhaps he’s a fast learner and picked it up in just the last few weeks, but most likely he’s clearly had a move to Real Madrid in mind for at least six months, if not more.
Indeed, five months ago Fabrizio Romano told CaughtOffside’s Daily Briefing that Real Madrid were confident about signing the player.
