Liverpool midfielder Harvey Elliott has been linked with a move away from the club during the summer transfer window.
The talented young midfielder has struggled for regular game time at Liverpool, and he started just five games for them last season. He needs more opportunities at this stage of his career, and he has been urged to move to West Ham United.
Elliott urged to leave the Reds
Stuart Pearce has revealed on talkSPORT that it could be a good move for all parties. The 22-year-old needs to play regularly in order to fulfil his potential, and there is no doubt that he would get more opportunities at the London club.
Pearce said: “The player needs to play. When [Jurgen] Klopp left, he said: ‘I should have played Harvey Elliott a bit more’. That was one of the statements he made.
“He identified the talent of him and identified that he didn’t play him enough. He hasn’t played enough this year once again.
“I think that would be a good move for both parties. Right.”
