Arsenal left-back Myles Lewis-Skelly has officially signed a new contract with the club, as per the Gunners’ announcement this afternoon.
The talented 18-year-old enjoyed a memorable 2024/25 campaign as he became a regular starter for Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal side, whilst also winning his first caps for England.
Now Arsenal fans can breathe a sigh of relief as Lewis-Skelly has settled any doubts over his future by committing to a new deal at the Emirates Stadium.
Lewis-Skelly’s new contract has been announced by Arsenal’s official site, with the player clearly delighted to have made this decision.
“I’m so proud and happy. I know those words are simple, but I think they sum up how I feel signing for this club. I’m a fan and it’s like a dream come true,” he said.

After such a superb breakthrough season in the Arsenal first-team, it didn’t take long for Real Madrid to start showing an interest in Lewis-Skelly.
However, when Charles Watts addressed this story in his exclusive CaughtOffside column a few weeks ago, he made it clear he was hearing Lewis-Skelly would sign a new deal.
“I’ve heard about the interest from Real Madrid in Lewis-Skelly and that doesn’t surprise me one bit. He’s an outrageous talent and Madrid saw that first hand when he bossed them over two legs in the Champions League last season,” Watts said.
