Wolves winger Enso Gonzalez will reportedly be staying at the club this summer despite his difficult spell at Molineux.
The Paraguay Under-23 international has played only one game for Wolves since joining the club back in 2023, and his future had been in some doubt ahead of this summer.
However, it seems that there’s still an agreement in place for Gonzalez to stay at Wolves for a bit longer, according to journalist Christian Martin.
“It looks like it,” Martin said to Versus, as quoted by Molineux News.
“The information I have is from Enso’s entourage, and from the club is a mutual debt, he with the club and the club with him.”

Can Enso Gonzalez finally make Wolves breakthrough?
It remains to be seen if Gonzalez realistically has much of a chance of breaking into the Wolves first-team any time soon.
The 20-year-old was regarded as a bright prospect when he first joined the club, but it remains to be seen how he can bounce back from a serious knee injury.
There’s also a fair bit of competition in Vitor Pereira’s squad, so it won’t be easy for Gonzalez to establish himself.

Why Wolves signed Enso Gonzalez
Former Wolves sporting director Matt Hobbs told Molineux News when he joined: “His creativity stood out, playing forward, being aggressive in possession and doing his work out of possession, but for me it was more what he does offensively.
“Most players do the other side of the work if you’re getting the right sort of people, but with Enso, I’m excited to see what he gives us going forward.”
It will be interesting to see if Gonzalez can finally fulfil his potential as Wolves look to keep hold of him for a bit longer.
