Manchester United have reportedly reignited their interest in Fiorentina forward Moise Kean as the club looks to strengthen its attacking options under manager Ruben Amorim.
Having already made the signing of Matheus Cunha from Wolves, they are working on a deal to sign Bryan Mbeumo from Brentford.
The Red Devils struggled up front last season after the disappointing performances from Rasmus Hojlund and Joshua Zirkzee.
While Hojlund was in his second season at the club and for large spells of the season struggled to score, Zirkzee found it difficult to cope with the demands of Premier League.
Man United want Fiorentina striker Moise Kean
Amorim and his management team are now looking to sign a striker who can score goals for the team and they have identified a player who is currently in his best form.
United have reportedly re-entered the race to sign Fiorentina striker Kean, according to Corriere Fiorentino.
The Italian outlet claims that United have ‘renewed their interest’ in the 25-year-old forward, who could be available in the coming days as a critical clause in his contract approaches expiry.
ean currently has a €52 million release clause in his deal with Fiorentina, which is set to expire on July 15, meaning clubs looking to secure his signature at that fee will need to act quickly.
United are not alone in their pursuit of Kean, with both Galatasaray and Napoli also reportedly monitoring the striker’s situation.
The Italian striker scored 25 goals for Fiorentina last season, showcasing his goal scoring quality.

While his time at Everton was underwhelming, he is now considered a much better player than he was in the past and having developed his game, he could be offered the opportunity to prove himself in the Premier League again.
As far as United’s interest is concerned, it still feels unconvincing since they would prefer to have a striker who has more experience in the Premier League.
