Newcastle United are looking to offload some of their unwanted players to make room for new players in the squad.
Manager Eddie Howe has been making some big moves in the transfer market this summer.
Nottingham Forest winger Anthony Elanga completed his medical ahead of his move to St James’ Park.
Attacking names are also under consideration by Howe and his management team this summer.
Newcastle United have been busy this summer
Eintracht Frankfurt attacker Hugo Ekitike, who has been linked with a move to Chelsea and Liverpool, has caught the attention of the Magpies.
Along with Saudi clubs, Newcastle United are part of the race to sign the French attacker this summer.
As far as outgoings are concerned, one name who is likely to head out this summer is midfielder Sean Longstaff.
According to The Northern Echo, Leeds have submitted three bids for Longstaff during this transfer window, the most recent coming at the start of this week.
It is believed the Elland Road side proposed an initial fee of £10 million, with an additional £2 million in potential add-ons, bringing the total offer to £12 million.
Newcastle, however, have turned down this proposal for the 27-year-old midfielder, who has now entered the final year of his contract at St James’ Park.
