Tottenham Hotspur are one of the clubs keen on the AS Monaco midfielder Lamine Camara.
The 21-year-old Senegal international has done quite well for the French outfit, and a report from TBR Football claims that Tottenham scouts have issued glowing reports on the player. It will be interesting to see if Tottenham come forward with an offer to sign him this summer.
Liverpool have been linked with Lamine Camara as well.
Spurs need midfield depth
They need more quality and depth in the middle of the park. Yves Bissouma has been linked with a move away from the club, and Rodrigo Bentancur has been inconsistent this past season. Tottenham need someone who will add physicality, control, composure, and defensive cover to the side.
Camara could prove to be a solid long-term investment for the north London club. Monaco will not want to lose a prized young prospect like him easily, and Tottenham might have to pay a premium in order to get the deal done. He has a contract with the French outfit until 2029, and they are under no pressure to sell him.

Meanwhile, the midfielder can operate in central midfield, as a defensive midfielder, as well as an advanced playmaker. His versatility will be an added bonus if Tottenham can get the deal done. He could be an asset for Thomas Frank, and the Denmark manager could nurture him into a complete midfielder.
