Manchester United are hoping to sign Gianluigi Donnarumma before the summer transfer window closes.
The 26-year-old could be on his way out of PSG, and he will cost £26-28 million this summer. According to a report from Stretty News, Manchester United are prepared to offer him a long-term contract. They have already scheduled a meeting with the goalkeeper’s agent this week. It remains to be seen whether they follow up with an official offer for PSG.
Gianluigi Donnarumma could fancy a Premier League move
The opportunity to move to England could be quite exciting for the 26-year-old goalkeeper, and he will look to compete at a high level. Manchester United are among the biggest clubs in the world, and the opportunity to join them could be exciting for him. Donnarumma has been linked with Chelsea as well.
Manchester United will not be able to offer him European football for the upcoming campaign. It remains to be seen whether they can get the deal done. Convincing world-class players to join without Champions League football can be quite difficult. If they manage to convince the Italian, it will be a huge boost for them.
