Liverpool are now closing in on the capture of Italian defender Giovanni Leoni from Parma.
According to a report from talkSPORT, Liverpool could wrap up the move in the next 24 hours. The report claims that Liverpool are now very close to reaching a full agreement for the 18-year-old defender, and they will pay a fee of around £30 million for the player.

Liverpool need Giovanni Leoni
Leoni will become Liverpool’s seventh summer signing. The talented young defender could prove to be an excellent long-term investment for the club. Liverpool need to add more quality and depth to the defensive unit, especially after the departure of Jarell Quansah.
It will be interesting to see if you can hit the ground running in English football and establish himself as an important first-team player for the club. There is no doubt that he is a world-class talent with a bright future, and he could develop into a key player.
