According to journalist Rudy Galetti, United’s openness to allowing the striker to leave on loan, with an option to buy, will only be considered late in the transfer window and under very specific circumstances.
Galetti reports that for now, United’s priority is clear: over the next 10 days, the club will focus exclusively on securing permanent transfer offers for Hojlund.
This stance means that clubs such as AC Milan, who have been linked with the 22-year-old, will need to put forward a definitive proposal if they want to land him sooner rather than later.
With manager Ruben Amorim reshaping his squad, United appear open to cashing in on the young forward if a suitable bid is received.
