Manchester United striker Rasmus Hojlund has been linked with a move away from the club this summer.

The 22-year-old could struggle for regular gametime next season, and it would be ideal for him to move on. He has not been able to live up to the expectations since the big money move from Atalanta.

Rasmus Hojlund needs a move

Manchester United have decided to invest in another striker, and Benjamin Sesko is likely to lead the line for them in the upcoming campaign. The Denmark International needs to play regularly at this stage of his career, and moving away would be ideal.

Initially, he was linked with a move to Bayern Munich, but Christian Falk has now revealed on CF Bayern Insider that the German champions are not keen on the 22-year-old. It will be interesting to see where he ends up.

Perhaps a return to Italy could be ideal for Hojlund. He played his best football with Atalanta, and returning to his comfort zone could be ideal for him. There is no doubt that he is a talented young player with a bright future, but staying at Manchester United could be detrimental to his development. He needs to join a club where he will get regular opportunities, and he needs a manager who can bring out the best in him. Hojlund has been labelled as “top class” previously.

The striker is in desperate need of a fresh start right now. On the other hand, Manchester United have spent a substantial amount of money to improve the attacking unit, and they will look to balance the books now. Getting rid of their fringe players would be ideal.

It will be interesting to see if any club is willing to provide the 22-year-old with an exit route in the coming weeks. He will look to get his career back on track with regular football next season.
