Arsenal have been dealt the huge blow of losing Kai Havertz to injury and they’ll now be on the hunt for a new striker.

The Germany international has been a key player for the Gunners since joining from Chelsea, but it’s fair to say he’s also proven a little injury prone in recent times.

Havertz ended up missing much of last season and only recently returned to full fitness, though he’s now facing a spell out again, according to the Athletic.

This has led to Arsenal fans calling for the club to move for some top attacking players, with names like Rafael Leao, Ollie Watkins and Ademola Lookman coming up.

Arsenal fans have thrown a lot of big names out there, but so far there doesn’t seem to be much indication of a marquee signing.

In fact, a lot of Arsenal fans seem pretty pessimistic and think their club will just end up landing Chelsea misfit Nicolas Jackson.

Arsenal signed Noni Madueke and Kepa Arrizabalaga from Chelsea already this summer, and have a recent history of signing their unwanted players.

Arsenal have also just given Leandro Trossard a new contract with improved pay, and that might be to convince him not to leave while Havertz is out injured.
