Arsenal linked Eberechi Eze now fully focused on Tottenham transfer

Eberechi Eze is expected to leave Crystal Palace during the summer transfer window, and clubs like Arsenal and Tottenham have been mentioned as potential destinations.

According to TBR Football, the player was expected to move to Arsenal a few days ago, but it seems that he is now focused on joining Tottenham instead.

Eze has established himself as one of the most reliable attacking players in the Premier League, and he registered 25 goal contributions last season. There is no doubt that he would improve both clubs, and it remains to be seen where he ends up.

Tottenham frontrunners to complete Eze transfer

“Yes, at one point a move to Arsenal looked likely, but in football things change – now the Arsenal talks are behind Eze, he is fully focused on Tottenham and what he can do,” Bailey claimed on TBR.

“Several people within football have been telling me for weeks that Tottenham was the right place for Eze… We will soon see if they are correct in that view.”

The fact that Eze wants to join Tottenham will come as a blow to Arsenal. They need more quality in the attacking unit as well. They could use a versatile player like him who will add goals and creativity to the side. Gabriel Martini was underwhelming last season, and they could use someone like Eze, who can operate from the left flank as well as centrally. In addition to that, Arsenal have now suffered a major injury blow with Kai Havertz ruled out for the foreseeable future.

It will be interesting to see if they decide to move on to other targets.

As for Tottenham, they will look to get the Eze deal across the line. They need more depth in the attacking unit, and the 27-year-old could transform them going forward.
