Man United are only interested in a permanent transfer for Antony

Antony’s future at Manchester United has once again become a major talking point this summer, with the Brazilian winger reportedly pushing for an exit from Old Trafford.

According to journalist Sam Cohen, the player is eager to find a fresh start elsewhere after what has been a turbulent spell in Manchester since his arrival from Ajax.

Real Betis are among the clubs actively monitoring the situation and have already made their intentions clear.

Real Betis are ready to move for Antony

Cohen reports that the La Liga side are working on the possibility of securing Antony on loan, having shown concrete interest in the winger over recent weeks.

However, Man United’s stance presents a significant obstacle. The Red Devils are not particularly keen on sanctioning another loan move for Antony.

Instead, Cohen reveals that United would prefer to explore a permanent solution, ideally recouping a substantial portion of the fee they paid Ajax in what was one of the club’s most expensive signings.

As it stands, there appears to be little willingness from United to engage in discussions around a temporary exit.

With Betis pushing for a loan and Antony open to a move away, much will depend on whether United soften their stance or whether another club enters the race with an offer that satisfies the hierarchy at Old Trafford.

With just a few days remaining in the transfer window to shut down, Antony must be eagerly waiting for a solution regarding his future since the player is not in the plans of Amorim at Old Trafford and only a move away from Manchester is on his mind.
