Oliver Glasner is wanted by German giants Bayer Leverkusen

According to The Sun, Crystal Palace boss Oliver Glasner is being considered by Bayer Leverkusen who sacked Erik ten Hag yesterday.

Glasner has cemented his position as one of the best managers in the Premier League.

The Austrian manager has recently guided Palace to success in the FA Cup and the Community Shield. On their way to silverware, they beat Manchester City and Liverpool, showing their capability to compete with the best teams in the country.

Leverkusen want Oliver Glasner to replace Ten Hag

Surprisingly, Leverkusen sacked Ten Hag yesterday after only appointing him a few weeks ago.

The former Manchester United manager only managed the Bundesliga side for two league games.

His time in Leverkusen has come to a sudden end after the manager was given the task of replacing Xabi Alonso at Leverkusen who ended up moving to Real Madrid in the summer.

Another reason why the rumours of Glasner leaving Palace have generated in the media is because the manager is reportedly unhappy at Selhurst Park.

Glasner believes that despite their recent success, Palace struggled in the summer transfer window and failed to make the most of the opportunity to strengthen their squad.

The manager is also unhappy with the sale of Eberechi Eze to Arsenal, a player who was instrumental in Palace’s recent success.
