Several managers are being linked with the Manchester United job as uncertainty increases about the future of Ruben Amorim.
The Red Devils have won just four points from their first four matches of the season in the Premier League and a surprise defeat against Grimsby Town in the Carabao Cup have made matters worse.
Criticism has increased over Amorim with the manager’s tactics being criticised and his stubbornness to change the team’s formation being widely talked about.
The Portuguese manager is under severe pressure at the moment with his team struggling in the bottom half of the Premier League table, just like last season.
However, Fabrizio Romano has slammed all reports of United looking for a new manager.
Man United have complete faith in Ruben Amorim
The transfer news expert has claimed that the Red Devils are not thinking about changing their manager currently.
GiveMeSport asked Romano whether Andoni Iraola of Bournemouth is being considered to replace Amorim at Old Trafford.
Romano said:
“Nothing about names now, at the moment Man United are not changing the coach so all the rest is speculation. If something changes with Amorim, we’ll see who they pick.”
Iraola’s reputation has grown steadily, thanks to his brilliant work with Bournemouth. He has shown that he can adapt his style depending on opponent and available players, an attribute United see as increasingly important in the modern Premier League environment.
His ability to combine youth and experience, his discipline, and his attention to structure are thought to match what United need.
