Manchester United are looking for a new striker this summer to strengthen their attacking options.
The poor performances of Rasmus Hojlund and Joshua Zirkzee has made the signing of a new striker this summer a priority for the club.
The Premier League giants are close to completing the signing of Wolves attacker Matheus Cunha to start off their transfer business.
Another player they were heavily linked with, Ipswich Town attacker Liam Delap, has snubbed a move to Old Trafford to join their Premier League rivals Chelsea.
However, there is a former Chelsea attacker who has been offered to the Red Devils by his agent as he looks for a move back to the Premier League.
Tammy Abraham wants Man United move
According to TBR Football, Tammy Abraham representatives have contacted several Premier League clubs for a move this summer, with one of them being Man United.
The 27-year-old striker, currently under contract with AS Roma until 2027, spent the previous season on loan at AC Milan.
Despite contributing 10 goals and seven assists in 45 appearances across all competitions, Milan are unlikely to pursue a permanent deal for him which has made the player think about a move back to England.
United’s interest in Abraham comes after missing out on Ipswich Town’s Liam Delap, who opted to join Chelsea despite significant interest from Old Trafford.
In addition to Man United, other clubs such as West Ham United, Everton, Newcastle United, Aston Villa, and newly promoted Leeds United have been informed of Abraham’s availability.
Newcastle view him as a potential replacement for Callum Wilson and a backup to Alexander Isak, while Aston Villa, where Abraham previously enjoyed a prolific loan spell, are also monitoring the situation.
