Newcastle and Aston Villa interested in signing Samu Aghehowa

Newcastle United and Aston Villa are interested in signing the Porto striker Samu Aghehowa during the summer transfer window.

According to a report from O Jogo, the player is likely to cost €100 million, and Porto have no intention of selling him this summer.

The player is not pushing for an exit either. It seems that Aston Villa or Newcastle will have to trigger his release clause to get the deal done. However, it is highly unlikely that any club would be willing to pay €100 million for the player. There is no doubt that he is a prodigious talent with a bright future, but he has not justified the pricetag yet.

Samu Aghehowa is a top talent

The striker scored 27 goals last season, and he has the potential to develop into a top-class player.

He has the physicality to succeed in English football, and he could be an important player for Newcastle or Aston Villa in future.

It remains to be seen whether they decide to make a move for him in the coming weeks.
