Arsenal have been linked with the move for the Valencia defender Cristhian Mosquera in recent weeks.
The Gunners have had an offer turned down for the 21-year-old defender, and they are now prepared to return with an improved offer. According to a report from Super Deporte, Arsenal initially offered €15 million for the talented young defender, but they are now prepared to come back with an offer of around €20-25 million.
It will be interesting to see if the Spanish outfit are prepared to sanction is departure. They value him highly, and they are hoping to tie him down to a new deal. It remains to be seen whether the defender is willing to commit his long-term future to the Spanish club.
