Isak has been an important player for Newcastle is joining the club. He has firmly established himself as the best striker in the Premier League over the last 12 months. He would be an incredible acquisition for Liverpool if they could get the deal done. They have improved their squad massively since winning the league title, and the addition of the Swedish International could take them to a whole new level.
There have been rumours that Liverpool could be willing to pay a British transfer fee for the 25-year-old Newcastle star. It remains to be seen whether the Magpies change their stance in the coming weeks. They have not been able to bring in a quality alternative so far, and that has surely played a part in their reluctance to sanction Isak’s departure.
