Tottenham Hotspur could look to make a move for the Chelsea attacker Nicolas Jackson this summer.
According to Fabrizio Romano, they could look to sign the 24-year-old if Richarlison leaves the club. The Brazilian has been linked with an exit from the north London club in recent weeks. He has not been able to live up to expectations since the big-money move from Everton.
His performances have been underwhelming, and he has also struggled with injury problems. Tottenham should look to cash in on the player and bring in an alternative. Jackson has done reasonably well since joining the Blues, and he could prove to be a useful acquisition.
Spurs need attacking depth
Tottenham need more depth in the attacking unit, and the Chelsea player could be a handy option for them. He could share the goalscoring burden with Dominic Solanke. It will be interesting to see if Chelsea are prepared to sanction his departure to a rival club.
Newcastle United are keen on the player as well. It will be interesting to see where he ends up. Jackson needs regular gametime, and leaving Chelsea would be ideal for him. The Blues have signed Liam Delap and Joao Pedro earlier this summer. They will not be able to provide him with regular gametime.
