According to journalist Fabrizio Romano, Tottenham have opened direct talks with Manchester City over the signing of highly rated winger Savinho.
Negotiations between the two Premier League clubs are now underway, with Spurs pushing to secure a deal before the end of the transfer window.
Spurs have made several signings this summer with the high-profie arrivals being Mohammed Kudus and Joao Palhinha.
They are expected to remain active in the market to make attacking and creative additions as they prepare for life without Son Heung-min.

The Europa League winners are preparing their squad to challenge in the Champions League next season and for that, more quality and depth is needed.
Savinho is believed to be open to making the move to North London. While personal terms are not expected to be an obstacle, the final outcome will depend on whether Tottenham and Man City can reach an agreement on the transfer fee.
New Spurs manager Thomas Frank has identified Savinho as the ideal player to strengthen his forward line.
The Brazilian winger is known for his pace and his dribbling skills. Although his output last season was not great for Pep Guardiola’s side, his involvement in the final third and the spark he provides was crucial.
