West Ham United could yet make another move in the goalkeeper market, with intermediaries reportedly presenting them the opportunity to sign Andre Onana from Manchester United before the transfer window closes.
According to a report by journalist Graeme Bailey via United in Focus, Onana’s future at Old Trafford has become increasingly uncertain.
Ruben Amorim appears to favour Altay Bayındır as his first-choice goalkeeper, leaving the Cameroonian international facing the prospect of an exit.
Onana’s arrival at Manchester United in July 2023 was one of the biggest talking points of Erik ten Hag’s tenure. Signed for a fee of around £47m from Inter Milan, he was brought in to replace long-serving No.1 David de Gea.
