Liverpool star Harvey Elliott is attracting interest from Crystal Palace

Crystal Palace are considering a move for Harvey Elliott as part of their late-window push to strengthen the squad, with the club preparing for life without star midfielder Eberechi Eze.

Palace are determined to act quickly, with Elliott emerging as a genuine target in the final days of the transfer market.

According to Football Insider, the Eagles are planning to reinvest potential funds from Eze’s departure into multiple signings rather than a like-for-like replacement.

Elliott, who has grown frustrated with his lack of consistent opportunities at Liverpool, is high on the list of options being considered.

At 22 years old, he still represents a player with enormous upside and Premier League experience, making him an appealing option for Oliver Glasner’s side.

There has already been plenty of speculation around Elliott’s future this summer. German outfit RB Leipzig had explored a deal, but progress stalled, with their interest depending on Chelsea completing a move for Xavi Simons.

That deal has been delayed by Chelsea’s difficulties in offloading fringe players, leaving Leipzig unable to accelerate talks for the Liverpool midfielder.

Former Manchester United and Blackburn scout Mick Brown has also voiced his surprise at Elliott’s situation.
